We have a number of different opportunities for children and parents to enjoy learning, build friendships, and have fun at GEBC. On Sunday’s at 9:30am our children join us for the first part of our service and then we have a special program for our pre-school children and our 5-10 year olds. We also have a creche available for under 2s where children can play and parents can still enjoy the service.
There are a number of different ways that GEBC caters for children aged 0-10. Olive Tree is for 0 – 2 years and is held in the creche next door to the main auditorium. It is a place where parents feel relaxed and chat to other caregivers, and the children are given space to explore the toys, meet friends, and be nurtured by the wider Glen Eden Baptist community.
A Sunday program for intermediate aged young people (Ages 10-13) runs fortnightly at GEBC during our Sunday morning services (9.30am). Anyone aged 10-13 is welcome to join.
The Ark is for Pre-school children and is held in the Kindergarten building across the car park to the left. This is a place where pre-schoolers can come along and feel loved in a safe environment. Each Sunday we have a routine of morning tea, mat-time, craft activities, and free play, with fantastic adult supervision.
KidZone is for 5 – 10 year olds. Each week we have dancing and singing, room for children to ask the big questions, and a fun activity. The team who run these programmes are passionate about empowering this age group to reach their full potential.
